ADYES Workshops
Our programs consist of 16 intensive -weeks of Youth Engagement Workshops program with comprehensive activities starting from May St to August 31st, 2023 comprised of (4 month) art workshop series and African Descent Youth Summit where youth will create new performances and visual artwork, facilitated by prominent professional BC artists
Pan African Youth Leadership
African Descent Youth Engagement believes it’s time for young people to embrace the spirit of Pan-Africanism and its contribution to the development of the most influential African leaders.
Youth Engagement
ADYES aims to influence change for a great deal of youth disproportionate barriers within social, economic, civic, and public systems that affect many Young African Descents, indigenous youth, refugees, immigrants, and newcomers youth face barriers compared to many young people in Canada and beyond.
Youth Outreach
The Enhanced Youth Outreach Program (YOP) provides intensive one-on-one support to African Descent youth ages 12 to 25 and their families to help them address their needs.
Youth Summer Employment
African Descent Youth Engagement Society believes for students and new graduates, summer is the time to look for work to supplement their income, in many cases, pay for (or off) their education, and gain valuable work experience.
